Flying in any private aircraft is a luxury regardless of its size and features. Typically, the price of a private aircraft ranges from a few million dollars for a used light aircraft to half a billion dollars for the top-end version.
The most expensive aircraft in the world today is the Airbus A380. The double-decker airliner can seat up to 800 passengers and costs more than $400 million.
Advantages of the Airbus A380 passenger aircraft
Emirates Airlines has more than 100 Airbus A380 aircraft in its fleet. It has proven by experience that this airliner has great potential and offers the best service for business class passengers. There is a bar with a lounge, a chic first class suite and deluxe bathrooms on the second floor.
What makes this aircraft special is not only its sheer size, but also its low fuel consumption and reduced carbon dioxide and nitrogen oxide emissions. The A380’s landing gear is quieter than most airplanes, thanks to its improved wing design.
Despite all its advantages, the Airbus A380 airliner is not the most popular commercial aircraft. It is very difficult to fill it with so many passengers, and this increases airlines’ costs. Recently, it is the small, easy-to-fill planes that are most in demand for passenger transportation.

The Airbus A380 is an elite private jet
Airbus A380 airliners don’t have to worry about filling up for travelers who can afford to buy a luxury private jet. The new Airbus A380 models, which have been on lease for about 10 years, will be sold by airlines as personal luxury jets.
At the European Business Aviation Exhibition and Conference (EBACE) in May 2017, Sparfell & Partners said it wanted to convert four Airbus A380s for sale. The planes currently have 471 passenger seats and are kept in Singapore Airlines’ fleet: the Singapore-based carrier has said it will not renew their leases.
It is clear from an interview with aviation intelligence company FlightGlobal that Sparfell & Partners intends to convert 3 of the 4 planes into VIP jets. Their layout is presented in two ways:
The top floor has a VIP airliner interior and the lower floor has a regular passenger jet interior.
VIP interior on both floors.
London-based Winch Design was chosen as the contractor for the project to convert the A380 into an ultra-luxurious private jet.
Nevertheless, the conceptually new heights are still unconquered. In 2007 the main news was the intention of Saudi Prince Al-Waleed bin Talal Al Saud to buy Airbus A380 as a private jet. According to some reports, the billionaire wanted to equip the plane with 20 luxury cabins, a Rolls-Royce parking space, a marble Turkish hammam and electronic prayer mats. However, the deal fell through and the airliner was sold to another buyer.
It is tempting and ambitious to have the largest and most expensive private jet in the world, but to be in the trend, it is not necessary to get the Airbus A380 in the property. You can order a private jet, contacting the company Air Charter Service. We will help you decide which jet is best suited for your trip.
